Un totale di 7.259 siriani, tra cui 2.153 bambini e 1.524 donne, sono morti a causa del terremoto Turchia-Siria: 2.534 sono morti nei territori non di regime, 394 nei territori di regime e 4.331 in Turchia

“Fadel Abdul Ghany, direttore esecutivo di SNHR, afferma:

“Fornire aiuti attraverso il regime siriano e le organizzazioni fondate dall’apparato di sicurezza del regime siriano potrebbe allontanare gli Stati donatori e le organizzazioni di supporto dal quadro del lavoro umanitario poiché gli aiuti sarebbero destinati a sostenere e finanziare il terrorismo e i crimini contro l’umanità che il regime siriano ha commesso contro la sua gente. Pur riconoscendo le buone intenzioni degli Stati e delle organizzazioni donatrici, dobbiamo sottolineare che il regime siriano non ha rubato solo il 30 o il 40% degli aiuti donati – in realtà, il regime siriano ha saccheggiato fino al 90% degli aiuti forniti».”
